Welcome!

Hello my wonderful students! This blog is for you and for your parents. On this blog you will find the weekly homework posted each Saturday. Each day I will post what we did in class and I will also post what I want you to study at home.

I know English is a hard language! But I also know that you can be a successful student if you keep on working hard in class and at home! I am here to help you, and I want to help you in any way I can. If you do a good job as a student, I am certain that you will have a wonderful time learning this language!

This blog is also for parents! I am starting this blog so that what we cover in class is much clearer and if you have any questions at all you can contact me directly. With your love and encouragement, students will be successful learners :)
Thank you so much for your support!

TODAY IN CLASS : FEBRUARY 8, 2010

4A :
There are many students in class that are having a lot of problems reading and understanding in class.  The following students have Ms. Maggie :
Carolene
Basil Izz
Taleen
Nizar
Ghassan
Jalal
Bassil Shweky
Mahmoud Ali
Rami

These students did not take the quiz.  They are getting a lot of help from Ms Maggie, and they are working on worksheets during class time.  This is to help them with the class!

Students with Ms. Fahmida took their quiz today on "Past Simple Tense"

NO HOMEWORK FOR TOMORROW! I did not give Preposition worksheet.  We will do that tomorrow in class after reviewing the quiz.

4B :
During first period, we reviewed the quiz.  8th period, they took their quiz on "Simple Past Tense".
NO HOMEWORK FOR TOMORROW.  I did not give them the Preposition worksheet.  We will do that tomorrow.

***The quizzes that I give are SIMILAR to the worksheets we do in class.  Students must STUDY their worksheets, and UNDERSTAND what we are doing.  During the quiz, they must think about each answer choice, it is not a copy of the worksheets we have done before***

WE WILL HAVE A DAY FOR MAKE UP QUIZ FOR ANY STUDENT THAT WAS ABSENT TODAY!
